House of Gilli ~ Flowers Challenge

Hi, I hope everyone's week is going well!  It's time to pull out those flowers for the Gilli Challenge; I know this will be such a simple and fun challenge for all!  For complete details and to link up your completed card or project go to:  House of Gilli.  The winner of the challenge is going to receive a Gilli Goodie and Anary (Designer of Gilli) always gives out fabulous surprises!   I've used the adorable Fairy Gilli for my card this week.  The flowers on the entire card and the Copics I used to color the stamp are available at Stamping Scrapping.  I coated the flowers with Ranger Perfect Pearl Mist and it sprays so beautifully!  It's the first time I've used this brand of shimmer and I had no drips or trouble with aim with Perfect Pearls; I love how the flowers look with this on them.

I used Frou Frou Tag Dies and Matching Stamps for the sentiment.  I love the shapes of these tag dies!  Fairy Gilli happens to be one of my favorites!  If you haven't tried a Gilli stamp you should really check them out; they're excellent for coloring and they stamp beautifully.  Thanks so much for stopping by and remember to stop by the House of Gilli!  :)

Outlawz Greeting Card Challenge ~ May 23

It's time for a new challenge over at Outlawz.  This week your card must contain a Sentiment but no Stamped or Digi Images.  You have a chance to win the following prizes in our monthly sitewide drawing:  Oozak ~ $50.00 Gift Certificate!, Susana's Custom Art & Card Design ~ $25.00 Gift Certificate!, and Color Me Creative Classroom ~ One Copic Class of Your Choice!!!!  How great are these prizes!  Just go to Outlawz to check out all the challenges you can enter.

I decided that my paper choice for this week's card reminded me of fabric for a quilt, so I cut squares using Spellbinders Eyelet Squares.  I stitched some of the Paper Trey Ink paper together then laid out the squares, and asked my hubby what it reminded him of and he said "I don't know ~ little rugs?", lol.  I went ahead with my quilt idea anyway.  :)

Coming up in June is our big Outlawz Party and we'll be giving away some very generous prizes!  Thanks for stopping by.  :)

House of Gilli ~ Black + One Color

Hi, We have a verrrrrry fun challenge for you over at House of Gilli; your card or project should include one color and black only.  My card features the very lovely Romantic Gilli stamp.  Gilli's dress was paper pieced, sleeves were coated with Star Dust Stickles, and she was colored with Copic markers on Cryogen White cardstock.  I used a MS border punch along the top and bottom edges of the card; added Frosted Lace Stickles to the flowers and thread beaded wire though them. The flowers didn't photograph too well since there's not enough contrast; in real life the beaded wire is more dimensional not flat against the card.

I hope you will join us this week at House of Gilli and remember that the adorable Gilli stamps are available at Stamping Scrapping (a wonderful place to shop and super quick shipping)!
Thanks for stopping by,  Ann  :)

Thank You Copic Musketeers and Paper Temptress!!!

I entered a card challenge over at Copic Musketeers and won my favorite paper for coloring, Cryogen White, from Paper Temptress!  I was so excited to win this because it has been the only paper I've used for coloring for the past few months, and I use it for both rubber stamping and digi stamping.  It has a subtle sparkle and great smooth blending for use with Copics.  Oh, and you have to stop by to check out the adorable ribbon they carry and this gorgeous Gold Sparkle Paper.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

Outlawz Greeting Card Challenge ~ May 2

This week the Outlawz Greeting Card Challenge will help get you motivated to get those Mother's Day cards ready.  You can make a Mother's Day card or any girl type of card for the challenge this week.  The link to the challenge is here.  I used an Elisabeth Bell stamp for my card called, Hey Birdy Peeker.  I colored with Copics and did a verrrrry light sky in the background.  I was practicing clouds and kept it light in case I goofed very badly, since I had no time for redoing the card.  :)  Please join us at Outlawz, we'd love to have you.  Thanks for visiting.  :)

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
SCACD ~ Challenge #4, color blue and flowers
