Happy Day!

I have a card to share with you and this little Tiddlyinks digi image looks like she's wishing everyone a happy day doesn't she?!

The image is called Wryn Fairy and I've colored her with Copics, and added stickles to her wings.
The dp is Echo Park/Summer Days, and to add a little more sparkle to the card, I added Stickles to the ice cream cone paper, as well as, adding a tiny bit of shading with a Micron pen.
Have a great day; thanks for stopping by.  :)

I'm entering my card in the following challenges:
Oozak ~ Bright Colors

Back to School with Gilli

There's still a month left of summer vacation in my neck of the woods, but some of you may be getting started back soon or already in school.  To get everyone excited about the school year we're having a back to school theme over at House of Gilli.  I inked up Balloon Gilli for the occasion:
I colored Gilli with Copics and made little block balloons for the back-to-school theme using the computer program paint.  After adding the lettering using picmonkey, I colored the blocks using copics and added a little sparkle to them using gel glitter pens over the letters.
You can use Gilli stamps as/is or add little details to the stamps.  Here, I've added a few details to her dress.  If you'd like to order a Gilli stamp you may do so at:  orders@anary.com   I hope you join us for our fun challenge!  :)

Under the Sea

Our newest challenge at Through the Craftroom Door Challenge Blog is to make a project inspired by life under the sea.  I have colored Ava Mermaid with Copics; a digi image by our generous sponsor Bugaboo Stamps.

We have two fabulous prizes for this challenge:  a $12 gc to A Day for Daisies and 7 free digis from Bugaboo Stamps.  So hurry on over to enter the challenge here!
Have you looked at the exciting magazine Through the Craftroom Door?....filled with craft ideas and tutorials?!  If you subscribe to the magazine, you will also receive free digis!  Last issue had 6 free digis!!!  :)
Here's a little info on my TTCRD project; I did some experimenting with this challenge.
I used sheets of plastic and Copic refills to create an ocean look.  First I worked with the blues and dropped a few different colors onto the plastic and then let the ink flow from side to side.  This can get messy so make sure you have some newspaper or something to catch the overflow of ink.  After this dried,  I dropped some greens and oranges to create the ocean floor.  To give the floor some definition I took a paper towel and dabbed it here and there over the green and orange inks.  After allowing this to dry, I took a mini-mister filled with rubbing alcohol and gave it a little spritz.  While the inks were still wet, I sprinkled a little Diamond Dust:
The little fish were created by painting strips of paper with Silks Acrylic Glaze in Emperor's Gold and Ginger Peach.  When dry I punched out the fish shape with a MS punch, then painted the stripes with Blue Flame and added Star Dust Stickles.  The borders were made using Copic ink in the same shades I used on the plastic.  When dry I punched using MS border, then added a coating of Silks Acrylic Glaze Ice.  It's hard to photograph but in real life there's a lot of shimmer on the project:
I used Diamond Glaze to adhere everything in this project.  Hope you liked this and thanks for stopping by!
I'm entering this project in the following challenges:
CMC ~ Navy Blue/Dark Blue
Great Impressions ~ Your Best Coloring
That Craft Place ~ Anything Goes
