I drew this little scene, scanned it and used the program Paint to even out the lines. I colored with Copic markers and added Liquid Applique, MS glitter and Filigree embossing powder. It was lots of fun to draw the picture but it's much quicker to use stamps and digi images~sooooo not sure how often I'll be doing this! I'm going to submit this card to the challenge over at CMC , there are some beautiful snow cards over there (and some nice prizes)!

Topsy-Turvy Cake
Hi! I think this'll be the last birthday card I'll make until I've started and finished Christmas cards. I'm still not sure what I'll do for Christmas cards, and how many people I'll make them for .......hmmmmm.... Anyway this card is a digi image from The Stamping Boutique, and I've colored it with Copics; then did some shading with Prismacolor pencils. I added some Star Dust Stickles to the bow, some glitter around the cake, and the lollipops and plate got a coat of Diamond Glaze. I used Copics to color the little tiny pearls at the base of the cake. That's it for now, thanks for stopping by! :)
This card will be submitted to the Challenge at Simply Scrapping Crafts/week of November 24.

CMC Copic Challenge/Simply Scrapping Challenge
Got my CMC Challenge done just in the nick of time as cards are to be done by tonight at 10:00! This digi image was generously donated by The Stamping Boutique to use as an inspiration for the challenge. Image is colored of course with Copic markers. It took me a bit longer than usual to make this card because I cut out the inside of the angel's wings so I could use some sheer green ribbon for the wings. I added some Star Dust stickles to the doves and used Viva Decor Glitter Liner in Peridot and Sapphire on the angel's wings. I'm also submitting this card for the Simply Scrapping Challenge ~Anything Goes! Thanks for stopping by!

Simply Scrapping/November 10
Good Morning! It's a foggy, rainy day today here in PA and it's making me want to stay inside and craft instead of running errands~so I finished up my Thanksgiving project for my Simply Scrapping Challenge. Instead of a card this week, I made a mini-gift box using a template I purchased from My Time Made Easy, designed by Lauren Meader. This was a quick and easy project and I think I may use this template to make little Christmas gifts. I'm planning on filling this one with some dark chocolate and giving it as a Thanksgiving hostess gift. Have a great day!

Simply Scrapping Card Challenge for Week of November 3
This week's challenge over at Simply Scrapping is to use an image with wings such as butterfly, fairy, or angel. It's so much fun to add the sparkles to wings; I applied a coat of Star Dust Stickles after coloring with Copics. Something about the Christmas season approaching is making me feel like dunking everything in glitter. The snowflakes are coated in Martha Stewart glitter, but it doesn't show up too well in the photo. I colored the Tiddlyink image with Copic markers which is also a requirement of the challenge.

CMC's bi-monthly challenge is to use at least three blue Copic markers to create a denim effect. I also did the additional challenge and used the Copic Colorless Blender to try and get some more texture in the denim. The image is a digi image from In Style Stamps and I've added Diamond Glaze to the eyes and the stool, as well as Diamond Stickles to the phone.

CDAC Embellishment Challenge
Doodle Pantry is hosting a challenge over at Crafter's Digital Art Center and it is to enhance your project by decorating the corners. I colored Laurie Wilson's (Doodle Pantry) rose digital image for this challenge. Copics were mainly used to color the image although I did use a couple Prismacolor pencils to deepen up the shading a bit. My attempt with this card was to make a cheerful-looking get well card. :)

Michelle Perkett Aloha DT Blog Hop
Thank you so much to the DT over at MP Studio! They have been a genuine inspiration with their creative ideas using the MP designs! Welcome to the new DT and looking forward to seeing your artistic creations. In this pic is the "Leilani" digi design by Michelle Perkett. I colored her with Copics and am disappointed that all the glitter I added to the flowers, didn't photograph. Thanks again, Ana (Hawaiian name) :)
