House of Gilli ~ Pastels and Bling
Welcome Spring! Spring is my favorite time of year, and we've been having some glorious weather recently here in Pennsylvania. This week I've made a Romantic Gilli card to welcome in the season; Gilli stamps are available here. For this week's challenge at House of Gilli your project must include pastel colors and bling. Here's my Romantic Gilli:
I gave Gilli's dress a coating of Star Dust Stickles available from Stamping Scrapping. Gilli was colored with Copics and I added some decorative pearls to the card, as well as seed beads for Gilli's necklace.
Thanks so much for stopping by and please join in our challenge at House of Gilli!!!

CMC Birthday Celebration
There's a week-long party going on over at Color Me Creative (CMC) this week. For the first challenge of the contest, Suzanne Dean made up a sketch we are to follow. Sketches are hard for me, and this may be the first one I've ever done. Here's my card for this:
My card is stamped with Tee Gilli on Cryogen paper, both are available at Stamping Scrapping here. I colored the Gilli image with Copics and then I flicked some little lines on Gilli's tee with a Copic Spica marker in clear. It doesn't show up in the photo but in real life her shirt has a little more sparkle to it after using the Spica on it. Hope you join the party over at CMC, and thanks so much for stopping by!

Outlawz Greeting Card Challenge ~ March 14
Hello Everyone! Our Outlawz Birthday Card Challenge has been changed to Greeting Card Challenge. Because we were making one card per week, we were all getting a surplus of birthday cards. So now you can include any type of sentiment for a holiday or event on the front of your card. This week the theme is animal so be sure to include an animal on the front of the card along with your sentiment. Here's my card for this week:
My image is a Michelle Perkett digi on Cryogen paper which is my favorite coloring paper and is available here. I've colored the digi with Copics, and I drew in larger eyes on the biggest dog to resemble my dog. Well I messed them up a bit, but went ahead with the card anyway because time was running out to get my card posted. :) I added Diamond Glaze to the balloons and a little MS glitter to the tops of a couple party hats. Thanks so much for stopping by and please join in the Outlawz Challenge here!

House of Gilli ~ Challenge #2
Hello Everyone! I'm so happy to present my card using Gilli Rockability ~ she's a cute Irish lass today. We have a fun challenge going on right now at House of Gilli which is to use something green in your project. I was so excited to make a St. Patrick's Day themed card, and it took me back to elementary school days. My Mom used to make me, my five sisters and brother the best looking shamrocks to wear. Her cute shamrocks with faces were made out of fabric; the teacher would always make a big deal out of it, and my face would proceed to turn crimson as the class turned to look. .....And now here's my Gilli celebrating St. Patrick's Day fun:
I used the following Copic markers: skin: E00, R000, R00, R01 and R20 Dress: G29, G28, YG17, YG11, YG03 Hair: E19, E18, E17, E15 and E 13.
I added Star Dust Stickles to Gilli's apron ~ available here. Her shoes were coated with Diamond Glaze and for her apron and jewelry I used Viva Decor Gold Paper Pen and Peridot Glitter Liner. My favorite adhesive for paper is the 1/2" Scor-Tape. After searching the local stores for some carnations to use on my card and finding none, I created some carnations out of tissue paper and airbrushed them with my Copics. I hope you come over to House of Gilli for the challenge. Thanks so much for stopping by! :)

Welcome Spring
I wanted an image with water and found this lovely Doodle Pantry digi image. I colored the image with Copics and added Star Dust Stickles to the flowers, tree and shrub. I added a bit of the Star Dust on top of Diamond Glaze on the water. The dp is from PTI and it reminds me of a lovely spring day, fresh and airy. Thanks so much for stopping by! :)
