Here's a little info on my TTCRD project; I did some experimenting with this challenge.
I used sheets of plastic and Copic refills to create an ocean look. First I worked with the blues and dropped a few different colors onto the plastic and then let the ink flow from side to side. This can get messy so make sure you have some newspaper or something to catch the overflow of ink. After this dried, I dropped some greens and oranges to create the ocean floor. To give the floor some definition I took a paper towel and dabbed it here and there over the green and orange inks. After allowing this to dry, I took a mini-mister filled with rubbing alcohol and gave it a little spritz. While the inks were still wet, I sprinkled a little Diamond Dust:
The little fish were created by painting strips of paper with Silks Acrylic Glaze in Emperor's Gold and Ginger Peach. When dry I punched out the fish shape with a MS punch, then painted the stripes with Blue Flame and added Star Dust Stickles. The borders were made using Copic ink in the same shades I used on the plastic. When dry I punched using MS border, then added a coating of Silks Acrylic Glaze Ice. It's hard to photograph but in real life there's a lot of shimmer on the project:
I used Diamond Glaze to adhere everything in this project. Hope you liked this and thanks for stopping by!
