Winter Wonderland Magic

Hi, and Happpppy Monday to you!  I made a card today using little mini-Fairy Gilli; I think she's adorable.  We have a *Let it Snow* challenge going over at Outlawz Greeting Cards.  So take a break from all the busy work, and join us over there; time to get in the craft room and have fun. :-)  I used a light-colored ink (desert sand) to stamp my image, and I kind of like how it comes out without the dark ink lines, for a change of pace.  I used lots of Glamour Dust on my project thanks to my friend anaRy getting me a stash of this wonderful sparkling glitter.  :)
I used MS snowflake stamps to emboss around the edge of the outer paper, as well as for the little snowflake punches.  The tree cutout was made using a cutout from Silhouette Studio.   I used Star Dust Stickles on Gilli's wings and on the snowflakes.  Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Deck the Halls

We have a Happy Holiday theme going on over at Through the Craftroom Door Blog; your project must be a holiday theme and contain at least three embellishments.  We have a wonderful sponsor this month ~ anaRy of Gilli design stamps.  I used anaRy's versatile house stamp for my project because I felt like decking it out for the Holidays.  I used white embossing powder on craft paper, hoping it would give the appearance of a gingerbread house.  I did a tiny bit of shading with Copic markers and used Stickles and Liquid Pearls on the house.  Here's a pic:
Hurry on over to Through the Craftroom Door to join in our challenge.  :)

House of Gilli ~ Challenge 21

Hi, I have the very cozy, PJ Gilli to share with you today.  It was such a rainy day yesterday in southeastern PA that I wanted to stay in my pj's all day, but couldn't, so instead I made a pajama party card. :)  I paper pieced the pj's and then added a little flower soft to them.  Gilli was colored with Copics (and the pj's shaded with them).  I cut Gilli's hair just a tad, so she'd match up a bit better with the birthday girl who's getting the card.  The only thing you need to do to enter Challenge 21 is to add flourishes to your project.  Stop on by House of Gilli   to add your card, and view the inspiration cards for this challenge.  Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you over there!   :)

Outlawz Challenge ~ November 14

Happy Monday!  This week's Greeting Card Challenge at Outlawz is to make a masculine card.  I don't know why these get so difficult, but I took the easy way out and made a card for a baby boy.  The digi image is from Digistamp Boutique.  I paper pieced and colored the image with Copics.

Paper Temptress is our sponsor this month.  One lucky winner this month will receive a special collection worth $20.  Come join us at Outlawz!!!
