House of Gilli ~ Challenge #1

Hello ~ Today I present my Gilli creation for the very first challenge at House of Gilli!!! To play along  you follow a recipe challenge chosen by Suzanne Dean:
RECIPE CHALLENGE
-Use some form of Sparkle
-Use 3 Patterned Papers
-Use at least 2 dies and/or punches
-You do not have to use a Gilli for this project
BUT IF you use a Gilli you get 2 chances okay ;)
(your entries must follow this recipe to be qualified)
This Challenge will END on Feb. 27th

Post your card or other project over at  House of Gilli where you will also find all the details of the contest including some wonderful prizes!!!

For my very first Gilli Challenge I used the lovely Waitress Gilli which you can purchase at Stamping Scrapping

I colored Gilli with Copic markers and also airbrushed the flowers to coordinate with Gilli.  I used the Spellbinders Beaded Circle found here.  The sparkle is hard to see in my picture but I used Stardust Stickles on Gilli's shirt and shoes, as well as, Crystal Stickles on the outline of the beaded circle.  Come to think of it, a lot of sparkle isn't showing up because I also used MS glitter on the polka dots in the circle punch.

This Gilli card will most likely be a Mother's Day card, and I'll put a gift certificate inside for a tea shop.  Some Waitress Gilli ideas:  Cards containing gift cards for restaurants, coffee, gift tags for baked goods or other delicious gifts, note to a friend asking to meet up for coffee, lunch or dinner.  I can think of many more, but I'd love you to post your ideas too!  Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope to see you over at the House of Gilli!

I'm entering Waitress Gilli in the following challenges:
Copic Creations ~ Challenge #44, Warm Colors
Catered Crop ~ Follow the Recipe 6 ~ Used in recipe:  apron on image, ribbon, Diamond Glaze, border punch and die cut, and mixing patterns
